Theme: Bringing the Farm To The Fair
Entertainment at Grandstand before and after parade provided by Matt Hayes and friends.
Information for exhibitors :
- All entries must pre-register. Forms are available from www.spencervillefair.ca
or the Drummond Building during Fair Office hours.
- Deadline for registration is September 1, 2009. Entries received after deadline
may not be accepted.
- Insurance information and signed hold harmless statement must be submitted
by all entries, which is part of the entry form.
- See information regarding Rapid Register After registration, an exhibitor
number will be assigned to each entry. Exhibitor number will be used by the
judges, the master of ceremonies and will assist in lining up the parade in the
Parade
- Assembly Area. Exhibitor number must be visible from the left side of entry.
Parade will line up in an open field on Goodin Road, two lots west of the
fairgrounds. The field will be accessible from behind the St Laurence O’Toole
Catholic Church, 48 Centre Street. Parking is limited in the Parade Assembly
Area.
- See information regarding Rapid Register. Entries who do not participate in
‘Rapid Register’ are to check in at the Parade Information Desk by 9:15 a.m.
Proceed to the designated spot for your entry in Parade Assembly Area. For
safety reasons, only one-way traffic will be permitted in the Parade Assembly
Area. Children must be supervised at all times.
- Entries must be ready for judging at 9:30 a.m. Entries not ready on time,
will not be judged. Parade will leave Parade Assembly Area at 10:30 a.m.
SHARP.
- Distribute candy and promotional materials with safety in mind. Hand out
items while walking along parade route.
- Businesses are limited to two entries with the exception of Antique & Class
Vehicles. Commercial Vehicles must be decorated unless they are Antique or
Classic Vehicles. 18 Wheelers are prohibited.
- Route is approximately 1.8 km long. See map for details.
