She plans to finish high school and continue her education at the University of Dalhousie in Halifax where she will aspire to become an Occupational Therapist. She has participated in Country Christmas to be remembered, entering crafts at the Spencerville Fair and local schools and Christmas art shows. Melissa feels that being the Spencerville Fair Ambassador is a deeply rewarding opportunity. It is a way for her to get involved, and explore the role that agricultural play in our community.
Jenny Learmonth is 12 years old and is the daughter of David Learmonth and Sarah Bush (1999 Spencerville Fair Queen)! She loves helping on her dad’s farm and sometimes making maple syrup! She has helped local parents by being a babysitter and she volunteered a kennel for a whole winter. She loves to draw, play baseball and sing, although she doesn’t think she’s very good at it. She is still uncertain of what she wants to be when she grows up! However she used to think she wanted to be a prime minister. In her past, she has volunteered as the president of the early act club. This titled consisted of fundraising for her school, community and around the world. She always is open to volunteer work. The Spencerville Fair is a big part of her life. She is always excited for the fair and she is happy to be the Junior Ambassador.
Jordyn Myers is 9 years old and is the daughter of Kevin and Erin Myers. She is in grade 4 and loves her teacher Mrs. Pitt! Her favourite thing about school is science and being with her friends! She loves to ride horses and figure skate. When she grows up, she would like to be a riding instructor! Her favourite thing at the fair is the horse show! When she is not watching the horses, you can find her on all the rides! She cannot wait to represent the Spencerville Agricultural Society and be the Spencerville Fair Little Miss!
Christian Hubbard-Jodoin is 7 years old and is the son of Kelly Hubbard and Chris Jodoin. His is in Grade two and loves math and reading! He can be found riding his sea-doo, riding bikes, playing soccer and writing stories. When he grows up he would like to be a veterinarian.
