LAWN DECORATION

Rules and Information for Exhibitors:

  • Please read the General Rules and Regulations

  • Entries must be the work of the exhibitor, not the work of someone else.

  • Exhibitors may enter both sections if there are two separate displays. One entry per section (Residential and Business).

  • All lawn decorations are required to include the following components:

    • A minimum of 1 bale of either hay or straw

    • A minimum of 1 pumpkin

    • Fall flowers (mums, sunflowers, etc.)

    • Advertise the 171st Spencerville Fair and this year’s fair dates: September 10th -13th, 2026

  • Deadline for all submissions: Friday, August 28th, 2026

  • All decorations must remain displayed until after the Spencerville Fair weekend

  • Submission will be done by picture, and judging will be done through social media.

  • Winners will be posted on social media: Friday, September 11th, 2026

  • Fair share 20% of all prize money.

CLASS 34
LAWN DECORATING COMPETITION:

Prizes: Sections 1-2 prizes, 1st Place $100

TO ENTER:

  • 1) Entries must meet all above requirements

  • 2) Submit a photo (in landscape) of your lawn decoration through AssistExpo

  • 3) Like and Follow the Spencerville Fair Facebook page (@SpencervilleFair)

JUDGING:

  • The public will be the judges of this competition, and their votes will determine the winners

  • All entries will be posted on the Spencerville Fair Facebook page on Monday, August 31st, 2026

  • Once posted, the exhibitor will be responsible for sharing the post with the photo of their lawn decoration

  • The winner of each section will be the exhibitor whose photo has collectively received the most Likes by Thursday, September 10th, 2026, at Midnight

  • Please note, only likes to the original post by the Spencerville Fair Facebook page will count towards each final score

Sections:

  1. Residential: Exhibitors must enter under their own name

  2. Business: Exhibitors must enter under their business and owner name
