Back by popular demand, Rough Camping at the Spencerville Fair is returning once again! Campsites are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged. Before arriving, all campers must complete and sign the Camping Agreement Form and submit full payment. The agreement form can be downloaded directly from this page. Campers must check in at the Fair Office to retrieve their camping pass before parking or setting up on the Fairgrounds. While the camping area may be monitored by Fair security, campers are responsible for their own belongings, vehicles, trailers, and equipment, and the Spencerville Agricultural Society assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged property. We look forward to welcoming everyone for another great Fair weekend!

Rules and Regulations:

  • Advanced registration is available by submitting the registration form and payment online.

  • A completed and signed Camping Agreement Form, along with full payment, must be received and confirmed prior to arriving on the Fairgrounds or parking any camper, trailer, or tent.

  • The camping fee is $120.00 or $180.00 for the weekend and include two weekend passes. Additional occupants of the camper, trailer, or tent must pay admission to enter the Fairgrounds.

  • Camping passes must be picked up at the Fair Office prior to entering the rough camping area or parking any trailer on the Fairgrounds.

  • Camping passes must be displayed on the camper door AT ALL TIMES.

  • There will be no admittance to the campground before Wednesday at 4:00 PM.

  • Campsites are first-come, first-served. Campers who arrive earlier must not be disrupted.

  • Campers must vacate the grounds by Monday unless otherwise approved by the Spencerville Agricultural Society.

  • Campers are responsible for leaving their site clean and in the same condition it was found, including proper garbage disposal.

  • Campers are responsible for the conduct and actions of all occupants staying at their campsite.

  • Campers must respect other campers, trailers, Fair volunteers, Society members, and Fair property at all times.

  • Campers must not disrupt the setup, layout, or operation of Fair events or activities in the vicinity of their campsite, including parade routes and event staging areas.

  • Generators must not be operated between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM out of respect for fellow campers and nearby Fair operations.

  • No campfires, gas fires, charcoal fires, propane fire tables, candles, fireworks, or open flames of any kind are permitted on the campground or Fairgrounds.

  • No motorized recreational vehicles, including ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, golf carts, scooters, minibikes, or similar motorized transportation devices, are permitted in the rough camping area or on the Fairgrounds unless authorized by the Spencerville Agricultural Society.

  • Rough camping areas may be monitored by Fair security from Wednesday through Sunday morning; however, campers remain solely responsible for the security of their own belongings, vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

  • The Spencerville Agricultural Society is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property at any time.

  • There is zero tolerance for failure to follow the campground rules, inappropriate behaviour, excessive disturbances, vandalism, unsafe conduct, or disrespect toward volunteers, staff, or other campers.

  • Members or representatives of the Spencerville Agricultural Society reserve the right to ask any camper or occupant to leave the campground or Fairgrounds at any time, for any reason deemed necessary.

  • Camping trailers, vehicles, or equipment may be removed or towed at the owner’s expense if rules and regulations are not followed.

  • As this is rough camping (located on active Fairgrounds) and not a traditional campground, limited amenities may be available. Campers are responsible for bringing any supplies or equipment they may require during their stay.
